Each player is required to wear a helmet, a jersey, sleeves, shoulder padding and trousers. Each team has a home and an away kit.

The Ball

 

The ball is like an egg shape and is usually mistaken for a rugby ball but there are severall differences such as; the lace across the front of the ball to increase grip when throwing, it is made out of leather to increase strength and grip, it is slightly smaller and lighter to make it easier to throw.

 

You can get a veriety of sizes such as junior and original. you can also get lots of different desighns and materials but the one shown above is the one used for the nfl superbowl which is the biggest nfl league there is.



My favourate NFL player

My favourite player is DeSean Jackson. He plays for the team that i support called the Philadelphia eagles. He is 5ft 10 and weighs 175 pounds. He is 25 and from his hometown of Los Angeles. He plays in the wide receiver and the kick returner positions and he is incredibly fast. He has played for the eagles for 5 years. He has unique skill combined with speed and a relentless, competitive nature. He was the first NFL player in league history to earn a Pro Bowl birth at two positions in 2009. 

Philadelphia Eagles

I support the Philadelphi Eagles and i have done since i got interested in american football four years ago. some of there best players include Michel Vick who plays in the quaterback possition, LeSean McCoy who palys in the right  back possition and Allen Nate who plays in the safety position.

American Football

American football is a bruital sport where the aim is to get more point than the opposing team. You can do this by scoring touchdowns and goals. The main league for the sport is called NFL(National Football League).
